I own a 2017 F-250 6.7L with 130,000+ miles and have owned the truck since new. After my extended 100K / 10-year bumper-to-bumper warranty expired, I needed to find a service shop I could truly trust. As someone who has historically wrenched on my own vehicles—and who’s taken advanced shop and auto body courses—I’m extremely selective about who I allow to work on my trucks. Diesel platforms, in particular, can be unforgiving. Between DEF systems and long-term carbon buildup, you need a shop that genuinely knows what they’re doing—and, just as importantly, one that actually cares about their customers.
